have begun their own substance abuse awareness campaign.
Arlington City Council adopts SMART Arlington – Know Your Way
In 2013, the Office of National Drug Control Policy awarded $625,000 to Challenge for the expansion of UT Arlington’s SMART Coalition to prevent youth substance Use in Arlington, Texas. SMART Arlington Coalition exists to involve and engage the community of Arlington to strengthen collaboration among community organizations and to prevent substance use among youth ages 12-17 while reducing risk factors and enhancing resiliency in the community.
